The Chairman of the Board is Andrew Garrad, a member of the Supervisory Board of DNV GL Energy. Until September 2013 Andrew was the Chairman of GL Garrad Hassan, the world’s largest renewable energy consultancy, head-quartered in Bristol. Before that, he was Managing Director of the Garrad Hassan Group which he founded in 1984 and sold to Germanischer Lloyd in 2009. He is presently President of the European Wind Energy Association based in Brussels.
