Boyd Gaming Corporation, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a leading casino company in the U.S., with 16 properties in the states of Nevada, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The casinos generally have multiple restaurants and showrooms. About a third of the company is owned by Chairman William S. Boyd and his family. In 2006, revenue was US$2.2 billion with profits of US$117 million.[1]
