Blair A. Ruble

"Blair A. Ruble is an American political scientist and editor. He is Director of the Kennan Institute of the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, D.C.. Ruble has edited a dozen volumes, and is the author of four monographic studies. His book-length works include a trilogy examining the fate of Russian provincial cities during the twentieth century: “Leningrad. Shaping a Soviet City”; “Money Sings! The Changing Politics of Urban Space in Post-Soviet Yaroslavl”; and “Second Metropolis: Pragmatic Pluralism in Gilded Age Chicago, Silver Age Moscow, and Meiji Osaka”."" [1]
