North South Bypass Tunnel – Brisbane

"In 2006, BBS won a 45 year operations and maintenance contract for Australia’s longest road tunnel, Brisbane’s North South Bypass Tunnel. The 5 kilometre tunnel will bypass the Brisbane CBD, running under the Brisbane River to Lutwyche at Bowen Hills. Scheduled to open in 2010, the contract is worth in excess of $600 million and is part of Brisbane City Council’s transport solution which aims to reduce the congestion on the city’s urban road network."

Australian Paper – Victoria

"For over 40 years BBS has supported Australian Paper’s Maryvale Mill in becoming the country’s largest papermaking complex, producing more than 500,000 tonnes of paper every year."

Roche Mining – Queensland

"180 kilometres west of Mackay, in Central Queensland, BBS completed the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation installation of the Isaac Plains Coal Preparation Plant for Roche Mining. The project will allow for the processing of 500 tonnes of coal every hour."

Rio Tinto – Queensland

"In 2006, BBS were asked to assist Rio Tinto to repair a critical supply line to a new coal mine in Rolleston. The 100 kilometre, 132Kv power line with its 351 poles meant traditional repair methods would have been long and expensive."
