Beth Breeze (formerly Egan) has been Deputy Director of the Social Market Foundation since October 2001. She has previously worked at Demos and the Fabian Society. When in Scotland, Breeze was seconded to assist the Chancellor, Gordon Brown, during the first Scottish Parliamentary elections in 1999. Breeze is also a Trustee of the Cardinal Hume Centre, and involved in Caritas Social Action.[1]
