Bernard Lown "is a Cardiologist at the Harvard School of Public Health, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Lown Cardiology Labs, Boston, MA. He is co-founder of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), winner of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize, and co-founder Physicians for Social Responsibility. He is also President and co-founder of SatelLIfe, which promotes expanded links between health services in the developing world by building links with northern medical institutions and doctors." [1]
