Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games

The Beijing Organising Committee for the Olympic Games consists of 26 Chinese government agencies and is responsible for the organisation of the 2008 Olympic Games.[1]

In April 2006 BOCOG announced that they had retained the public relations firm Hill & Knowlton as its "communications consultancy"."H&K will help BOCOG implement the communications plans for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing by providing support for major events, communications outreach to the international media and assistance in communicating Beijing's Olympic vision," a company media release stated.[2]
