Biographical Information

Delyth Morgan became Chief Executive of Breast Cancer Campaign "in July 2011. She enjoyed a varied career in the voluntary sector before her appointment to the House of Lords. Ten years as Chief Executive at Breakthrough Breast Cancer followed roles at Asthma UK, Shelter, and Workplace Nurseries Campaign.

"She was appointed to Government in 2007. She served as Children’s Minister, Minister of Intellectual Property and Quality and Government spokesperson for the Department of Work and Pensions in the House of Lords. In November 2012, Delyth became a board member of the National Cancer Research Institute.

"As Baroness Morgan of Drefelin, Delyth now sits in the House of Lords as an independent peer. She is a Founding Fellow of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Fellow of University College London, Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Cancer Research and Cardiff University. She is also Patron of Pancreatic Cancer UK and Honorary President of Cancer 52."[1]
