The Australia-Korea Foundation was set up by the Australian Government in 1992 to promote contacts between Australia and South-Korea. [1]
Funding
"The Foundation's program of activities, staffing and administrative costs are funded by the Australian Government. Approimately half of this is used for a range of Foundation-initiated projects and programs in the science and technology; education; commerce, industry and tourism; arts; the media and sports. The remainder of the funds is allocated via a competitive grants program." [2] Their total budget for 2003-04 was AU$747,235. [3]
