Asma Lateef

Asma Lateef "is Director of Policy and Programs for Citizens for Global Solutions. Formerly, she was a consultant for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the International Labour Organization in Geneva and Senior International Policy Analyst at Bread for the World. Asma holds a B.A. in Geography with a minor in East Asian Languages and Literature from McGill University, a post-graduate Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics, and a M.A. in Economics from Maryland University.

"Asma's background in development, global poverty, global engagement, and international institutions enhances her interest in and work on CGS's core issues. Asma feels that trade issues and the DOHA round are "important and challenging issue[s] both in terms of multilateralism and sustainable development"." [1]
