Asma Jahangir "was appointed as Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Arbitrary and Summary Executions, by the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in 1998. She currently serves as Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief. Asma is Chair of the Board of the International Council on Human Rights Policy." [1]
