Anu Kumar, PhD, MPH, Executive Vice President, Development and Communications for Ipas.
"Dr. Kumar joined Ipas in 2002 after serving for seven years as Senior Program Officer in the Population and Reproductive Health area of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. In that capacity, she oversaw grants to organizations working in India and to international organizations, as well as grants in the field of population and environment. Prior to her work with the MacArthur Foundation, Dr. Kumar worked as a Social Scientist at the World Health Organization’s Reproductive Health Research Division. Dr. Kumar has a doctorate in Anthropology and a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 1998-2001, she was Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Maternal and Child Health Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago." [1]
