Anthony V. "Tony" Colucci, Sc.D. was an R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, USA scientist/toxicologist from 1967 to March 1970, and again from 1980 to 1992.
Biography
In 1993, the press reported that R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. was suing Anthony Colucci. They sought a court order to bar Colucci from revealing confidential information he had gained during 15 years as a Reynolds scientist. Colucci, a smoker himself for more than 30 years, said on ABC's Primetime Live that Reynolds had shut down a biological research program in 1970 because it was on the verge of proving a link between smoking and lung cancer.
