Anthony Dworkin

Anthony Dworkin joined the European Council on Foreign Relations "in January 2008 as a Senior Policy Fellow working on human rights, international justice and international humanitarian law. He is also executive director of the Crimes of War Project (http://www.crimesofwar.org/), a non-governmental organisation that promotes understanding of international humanitarian law and its application in contemporary armed conflict. Before taking over as executive director in 2005, he was in charge of the Crimes of War Project's editorial direction. He co-edited the recent revised and updated edition of Crimes of War: What the Public Should Know (Norton, 2007).

"Anthony is a contributing editor of the British journal Prospect and has also written for the Times Literary Supplement, the Guardian, the International Herald Tribune, the New Statesman, OpenDemocracy, the Lebanon Daily Star and other publications. He is a member of the Terrorism/Counter-Terrorism Advisory Committee of Human Rights Watch."
