Angus Parker "came to know Rare through his prior work at The Nature Conservancy as Director of Operations for the Asia Pacific region. A graduate of the Wharton School of Business and Johns Hopkins’ Environmental Science program, Angus spent seven years in the private sector with Grey Advertising in Tokyo and Monitor Company in London prior to joining the conservation movement. Angus is the former COO of Island Conservation, a science-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to preventing extinctions and protecting island ecosystems. A keen outdoorsman, Angus’ primary conservation interests include island endemics, community-led conservation, and Australian flora and fauna. Angus currently works for WiserEarth.org and ConservationPages.org fostering conservation networks and knowledge sharing." [1]
