Biographical Information

Managing Director of John Lewis.

"Andy has spent all his working life in the John Lewis Partnership, joining on graduating from Oxford with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in 1985. After a series of roles across the company, he was appointed as the first Managing Director of John Lewis Bluewater in 1998. Responsibility for the supply chain and then personnel at Board level followed before Andy was appointed Managing Director of the John Lewis Division In February 2007.

"Andy is a Trustee of Performances Birmingham, responsible for running the City’s Symphony and Town Halls. He chairs the newly formed Speaker’s Advisory Council in Public Engagement; is a member of the London First Board and is part of the Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Group." [1]
