"For the past 20 years, Andy has been involved in the media business, primarily as a publishing executive working on various magazine brands.

"In February 2006, he was named President of Better Homes and Gardens and EVP of Meredith Publishing group. BH&G is one of country’s largest monthly magazine brands with an audience of 40 million readers and extensions that include: a vast network of special interest publications; best selling books; a wide array of licensed products; a real estate arm; international editions in China, India and Australia; and several interactive properties. In addition, Andy oversees Meredith’s Consumer Marketing division, its Brand Licensing Division, and ReadyMade– a recent company acquisition.

"Before joining Meredith Corporation, Andy spent 18 years at Time Inc., in a number of key leadership roles. Most recently he served as President of Entertainment Weekly, a position he held from 2002 to 2006. Also at Time Inc., Andy was President of The Parenting Group from 2001 to 2002, comprising Parenting Magazine, BabyTalk, Family Life, and First Moments. From 1999-2001, he was the founding Publisher of Real Simple Magazine, where he helped develop and execute the business plan for one of the company’s most successful magazine launches ever. Earlier he served as Vice President, Associate Publisher of InStyle. He began his career with a number of assignments in Time’s Consumer Marketing division." [1]
