According to an Aspen Institute (Italy) biography: "Andrew Spannaus is a freelance journalist and strategic analyst based in Milan, Italy. He is the founder of Transatlantico.info, that provides news, analysis and consulting to Italian institutions and businesses. He has published the books "Perché vince Trump" (Why Trump is Winning - June 2016) and "La rivolta degli elettori" (The Revolt of the Voters - July 2017)." [1]

"Starting in the mid-1990s Spannaus began work as a foreign correspondent for Executive Intelligence Review, focusing on macroeconomic issues and the need for a reform of the international financial system. In response to the global crisis of 2007-2008 he worked with numerous Italian parliamentarians on the campaign to restore the Glass-Steagall principle, the separation of commercial and investment banking. In 2013 he founded the newsletter and consulting service Transatlantico.info, aimed at government institutions and businesses.

"He speaks often at public and private conferences and his analysis of global geopolitics has been presented in numerous Italian publications, as well as international media such as Xinhua. Spannaus is a member of the Board of Auditors of the Milan Foreign Press Association." [2]
