Andrew Lane (Attorney for ATC in Kotler vs. ATC, New York 1990): Lane was a attorney for defendant American Tobacco Co. in Kotler v. American Tobacco Co., suit filed in New York federal court. The six-member jury deliberated for about two hours, on March 7, 1990, before rejecting claims that American Tobacco had failed to warn the public about the dangers of smoking cigarettes. Decedent died of lung cancer (NYT 3/9/90).
