Biographical Information

Dr Andrew Jones, Group Medical Director & MD Corporate Wellbeing for Nuffield Health.

"Andrew JonesAndy joined Nuffield Health in 2007 as Nuffield Health's first medical director. In 2012 Andy also took on the role of MD of Corporate Wellbeing. He completed surgical training in Leeds and also worked as a GP in Lincolnshire prior to joining Nuffield Health in late 2007. Andy ensures that Nuffield Health maintains very high standards in taking care of its' customers and staff, as demonstrated in the Quality Report which is published annually and which was recognised in 2009 with a Laing and Buisson Award for Risk Management. With a continued focus on clinical governance Nuffield Health leads the independent sector with the award of NHS Ligation Authority level 3 accreditation in December 2011.

"Andy continues to play an influential role in the development of health policy through his previous appointment to the Conservative Public Service Commission and currently with advisory roles to The Kings Fund and the Department of Health."
