Biographical Information

Andrew was appointed to the Carillion plc Board "in October 2011 and is Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of both the Remuneration and Nominations Committees. Andrew has served as a Non-Executive Director of a number of UK public companies, including Premier Farnell plc and Creston plc currently, and formerly of Taylor Wimpey plc, Taylor Woodrow plc (until its merger with George Wimpey plc), and BPB plc. He has served as a member of the Audit Committee on all of these companies and Audit Chairman of Taylor Wimpey, Taylor Woodrow and Creston. Before taking up these appointments, Andrew held a number of senior executive positions, including Chief Executive of Hanson plc, the international building materials company after its demerger from Hanson, the international diversified industrial group, where he was Finance Director.
