Biographical Information
"Amy Margerum is responsible for the Aspen Institute’s governance, finance, technology, and Aspen Meadows and Wye River conference center operations. She also overseas community outreach programming in the Roaring Fork Valley. Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Amy served as Aspen, Colorado, City Manager and as Chief Executive Officer. Under her leadership, the City of Aspen implemented an innovative performance-based management system that monitors the results of governmental services and rewards employees accordingly. From 1989 to 1991, Amy was planning director for the City of Aspen and Pitkin County, and from 1988 to 1989, she was director of long range planning for the County of Santa Barbara, California." [1]
