"Since then, thousands more studies have been carried out and advances in technology have improved the way information is collected and analyzed. In 2007, WCRF/AICR released Food, Nutrition, Physical Activity, and the Prevention of Cancer: a Global Perspective. This report is the largest study of its kind ever published and its recommendations are based on the most up-to-date *research available.
"To date, AICR has committed more than $82 million for research related to diet and cancer. With its affiliate, WCRF in the United Kingdom, AICR has established a Continuous Review program to ensure the ongoing interpretation of the accumulated research in this area. In addition, AICR has established a wide range of education programs to bring its message of cancer prevention to millions of Americans.
