American-Australian Free Trade Agreement Coalition

The American-Australian Free Trade Agreement Coalition (AAFTAC) is a U.S. based business coalition "dedicated to promoting a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the United States and Australia". [1]

The coalition is spearheaded by Anne Wexler from Wexler and Walker Public Policy Associates.

The free trade agreement between Australia and the United States was ratified by the passage of legislation through the legislatures of both countries in mid-2004. (The agreement is known as the United States-Australian Free Trade Agreement in the US while in Australia it is known as the Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement).
