America's Agenda:Health Care for All
America's Agenda: Health Care for All is a Washington, D.C.-based 501(c)(4) organization that lobbies on health care issues. Its mission, as stated on its Facebook page is to "provide state-of-the-art strategic support, including cutting-edge campaign communications, that initiatives for real health care reform need to WIN!" National Public Radio described it as a "union-pharmaceutical coalition." Its subsidiary, "America's Agenda: Health Care for Kids" is almost entirely funded by the pharmaceutical industry, and PhRMA funneled over $10 million to the group to promote Democrats who voted in favor of the 2008 SCHIP legislation to insure kids. The group's executive director is Mark D. Blum. Former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt and Tommy Thompson are on the group's Board of Directors.
