Alison Hughes "is an environmental educator working at Oz GREEN. Her passion for sustainable environmentalism began in high school and she was one of the founding members of the Maitland Enviro Youth Council. Alison studied at Latrobe University, Bendigo and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in environmental chemistry, and a Bachelor of Arts (Nature Tourism). At university she was very involved with the environment group, co-organised the Bendigo Enviro Youth Forum for high school students, and was President of the Student Association. Prior to being employed by OzGreen, she volunteered for 3 years on their village environmental action program in East Timor." [1]
