Alejandro Bendana "is Director of the Center for International Studies, Managua, Nicaragua. The Center focuses on issues of peacebuilding, reconciliation and economic justice. He was General Secretary for Foreign Affairs and United Nations Representative in the former Sandinista Government of Nicaragua. He has a Ph.D. in history from Harvard University and has been a lecturer at Harvard and many other universities throughout the world. He is the author of numerous books and articles on international relations, peace, development and history." [1]
