Alan Parker founded the financial PR firm, the Brunswick Group, in 1987.
"He is a UK Business Ambassador, the Chairman of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference, the founder and Chairman of China Now, a Trustee of The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, a Trustee of the Business Commitment to the Environment (BCE) Environmental Leadership Awards and a Trustee of FILMCLUB." In 2004 the company changed from being a partnership in which Parker had an 80% stake to a limited liability partnership in which he held a 50% interest. [2]
