Biographical Information

"Alain became CEO of Aggregate Industries on 1 April 2010. Prior to his appointment he was CEO of Holcim Spain. Alain holds a university degree in economy and finance and started his professional career in 1984 with Arthur Andersen before joining Holcim as a controller for France in 1987. In 1996, he was appointed Financial and Administrative Director for France and later on for France Benelux.

"In 2001, Alain became Managing Director of all downstream businesses (Ready-Mix, Dry Mortars and Concrete Products) at Holcim France Benelux. In 2007, Alain moved to Madrid to assume the role of COO in January 2008 ahead of becoming CEO in November 2008."[1]
