Biographical Information

"Ahmed is a Business Finance graduate of the American University in Cairo in 2002. After obtaining his bachelor he worked in Tunisia as a Financial Planning analyst of the Shell Gas activities for 2 years. He is currently working with Shell International in the UK as a Finance Advisor for the European Emissions Trading Scheme as part of the preparation for the implementation of the UN Kyoto Protocol in 2008. Ahmed is a member of the Egyptian British Cultural Forum in London which carries various political, social and economic discussions on a weekly basis, and is currently working as a facilitator of an online group of students from the Arab world and the USA as part of the efforts of the Soliya NGO to enhance cultural understanding between the US and the Arab World. Recently, he was accepted as a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chattham House). He is a freelance writer as well with his articles appearing in some Egyptian magazines.
