Africa Group and climate change negotiations

The African Group is an active participant in United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change negotiations for an agreement beyond the 2012 expiry date of the Kyoto Protocol.

The January 2007 summit of the African Union endorsed[1] of a climate change plan titled Climate Information for Development Needs: An Action Plan for Africa – report and Implementation Strategy.[2]
