The Africa Carbon Forum, to be held on September 2008 in Senegal, is being organised by various United Nations agencies and the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) under the umbrella of the Nairobi Framework[1], which aims to help developing countries, "especially those in sub-Sahara Africa, to improve their level of participation" in the Clean Development Mechanism.[2]
