Biographical Information

"Adam Sampson is the first Chief Ombudsman for the Office for Legal Complaints.

"Before joining the Office for Legal Complaints, Adam was Chief Executive of Shelter, the charity for the homeless. He previously ran the drugs charity Rapt (Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust) and was the Home Office’s Assistant Prison Ombudsman. He began his career as a probation officer.

"He was previously deputy director of the Prison Reform Trust, chairs a new housing social enterprise, and is on the board of the End Child Poverty campaign." [1]
