Biographical Information

"Abi joined the Trust as Director of Strategy in July 2009 from Aberdeen City Council, where she was Director of Strategic Leadership. In Aberdeen she was responsible for working with partners to develop the Community Plan for the City, as well as leading the service delivery for City Development, Enterprise, and Regeneration. Previously, Abi was a marketing manager at IBM where she was part of the team leading the transformation of IBM from a technology company into a leading provider of business services. Abi combined this role with a Research Fellowship at Oxford University, where she examined productivity and innovation in business services and strategic outsourcing.

"Abi is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and her academic background is in history, philosophy and public policy. In 1998, Abi was awarded a Kennedy Scholarship to study at Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she undertook courses in business strategy and public policy. Qualifications: International Leadership and Marketing Diploma from Duke University; Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma; D.Phil and M.Sc from Oxford University; BA from Leeds University. "[1]
