Aaron Rhodes, Executive Director of the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights.
"Aaron Rhodes is human rights advocate, writer, and university lecturer based in Hamburg, Germany. He is a dual US/Austrian citizen. He was born in New York State, USA, and studied at Reed College and at The University of Chicago, where he received a PhD in the Committee on Social Thought. In 1991, after working in political and university administration positions in Chicago and Boston, he was invited by the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna to coordinate projects on the reform of universities and research institutes in post-communist countries. Between 1993 and 2007, he served as Executive Director of the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights. In 2008, he helped establish the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran. He is married and has three children." [1]
