A Women's Lens on Global Issues was founded in 2000 by Joan B. Dunlop as a policy project of the Aspen Institute which was set up in collobration with the Women's Funding Network. It is "a non-profit initiative that organizes grassroots female activists to influence U.S. foreign policy." [1] [2]
