"ADL plc (ADL) is a publicly held UK based company, that was formerly known as Matrix Healthcare PLC. It is engaged in providing personal care services to the residents of care homes. Currently, the company owns and operates nine care homes with 306 operational beds. Woodland Healthcare Limited operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. On a joint venture basis, the company is also involved in managing one care home, with 40 operational beds. In addition, ADL also manages one care home, with 23 operational beds, on a partnership basis. Moreover, ADL offers treatment to elders, who are suffering with mental disorders/dementia. The company maintains partnership with local authorities, PCTs, NHS Trusts and the relatives of the residents of its care homes to provide the residents with the highest quality of care in homely surroundings.
