{{#badges: tobaccowiki}} Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (doing business as Deloitte) is one of the Big Four accounting firms, the others being Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Deloitte LLP is a brand under which hundreds of firms work to provide audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management, and tax services.[1] These firms are members of a UK private company limited by guarantee called Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, or DTTL.[1] The firm was originally established as an accounting practice in London, United Kingdom by William Welch Deloitte in 1845.[2] The firm is headquartered in New York, New York.[3]


In 2011, Deloitte reported 2,098,000,000 British Pounds in total revenues.[4]

James H. Quigley, Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, is a Bush Pioneer having raised at least $100,000 for Bush in the 2004 presidential election. [7]

Deloitte gave $1,638,627 to federal candidates in the 2006 election through its political action committee - 25% to Democrats and 74% to Republicans. [8]
