Susan Arceneaux is a well-connected Republican. Her known roles, both past and present, include the following:
- Administrative contact for Political Compliance Services, according to its WHOIS database entry. Note that her involvement with PCS is not given anywhere on its website.
- Treasurer of The Majority Leader's Fund [1]
- A listed contact for FreedomWorks [2]
- The custodian of records for David Horowitz's defunct 527, PoliticalWar.com Inc. [3] [4].
- An employee of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Arceneaux helped to set it up, and is given as the contact person on its post office box [5].
Arceneaux's involvement in SBVT did not become known until late August 2004, at the height of the controversy generated by its attack on presidential candidate John Kerry.
