Institute for American Values
The Four Sisters-funded Institute for American Values "founded in 1987, is a private, nonpartisan organization devoted to contributing intellectually to the renewal of marriage and family life and the sources of competence, character, and citizenship. Accordingly, Institute activities are more than debates about policy - they are also conversations about culture and explorations of the American idea."[1]

The Institute's affiliate scholars - Enola Aird, Maggie Gallagher, Elizabeth Marquardt, and Kathleen Kovner Kline - work in regional or home offices on projects concerning motherhood, marriage, the effects of divorce on children, and civil society."
