The Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership "at Georgetown University is a leading education, research and training center dedicated to the development of public, nonprofit and philanthropic leadership.
"Established in 1997 as the Center for the Study of Voluntary Organizations and Service, the Center has been recognized for pioneering research and academic programs in the field of nonprofit studies. The Center changed its name in 2003 to reflect the expanded scope of its work." [1]
