Expanding Economic Opportunity: Iraq

"CDC, Citizens Network for Foreign Affairs (CNFA), and International Executive Service Corps (IESC) are implementing an agreement awarded by USAID/Baghdad to the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA). The agreement calls for the Iraq Private Sector Development Initiative to deliver a package of training, technical assistance, consulting, capacity building and business entrepreneurship services to Iraq. The Initiative began on July 2004, with the goal to promote the expansion of a competitive and efficient private sector in the country." [2]
