Matthew Brooks serves as Executive Director of both the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), "an organization dedicated to enhancing ties between the Jewish community and the Republican Party, and the Jewish Policy Center, a think-tank that examines public policy from a Jewish perspective." Brooks acts as RJC's principal spokesman.[1]
Brooks is one of several prominent conservatives supporting Freedom's Watch, a new White House front group[2] which began "a multimillion-dollar advertising campaign to urge members of Congress who may be wavering in their support for the war in Iraq not to 'cut and run'."[3]
Brooks served as State Chairman of the Massachusetts College Republicans while an undergraduate at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass., and "managed the Jack Kemp for President campaign in Massachusetts, as well as directed projects in New Hampshire and New England." In 1988, Brooks became RJC Political Director but took a leave of absence to "serve as the National Field Director for Victory '88 Jewish Campaign Committee, designing and implementing campaign strategy on behalf of the Bush-Quayle '88 campaign." He was appointed Executive Director of the RJC in 1990.[1]

Matt Brooks has consistently backed positions which are on the far right of the Israeli political spectrum, and under him the RJC has pushed a Likud-line. In December 2011, Brooks removed Ron Paul from the RJC forum because he questioned the continued unconditional US aid to Israel.[4]
