Waters Advocacy Coalition
The Waters Advocacy Coalition (WAC) is "a broad-based coalition of both public and private organizations who depend on our nation's water resources to provide vital services, such as building the homes we live in, protecting our homes from destructive floods, growing and manufacturing the food, fiber, and paper products we consume, and providing the energy we use in our homes and businesses," according to April 2008 Congressional testimony on behalf of WAC by Hunton & Williams lawyer Virginia S. Albrecht. [1]
The domain name for the coalitions website was registered on October 1, 2007 by Mike Zabko from the National Mining Association (NMA).[2] Zabko is the IT Manager at the NMA.[3]
