Rule of Law Trust (RLT) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit founded in 2018. As of 2020, it had no website and its only listed employee was Leonard Leo, the co-chairman of the Federalist Society.[1][2]

In 2018, Rule of Law Trust's top expenditures were consulting fees to individuals and organizations connected to the Federalist Society and CRC Advisors, a firm founded by Leonard Leo in January 2020.[1][3]
RLT paid $1.5 million to former Federalist Society vice president Jonathan Bunch, who is now the president of CRC Advisors. It also paid $300,004 to YAS, LLC, a firm registered to former Federalist Society director of operations Maria Marshall, who is now the vice president of CRC Advisors.[1]
