David Turner Carr, M.D. was a pulmonologist at the Mayo Clinic, and has served as a Plaintiff's Expert in legal cases against the tobacco industry.

Biography

Dr. Carr is a board-certified internist and pulmonary disease specialist. During his career at the Mayo Clinic and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Clinic, Dr. Carr obtained vast experience with chemotherapy research and lung cancer tumor staging. Dr. Carr was a member of the board of the American Lung Association, formerly known as theNational Tuberculosis Association (NTBA), for approximately sixteen years - from about 1958 through 1974. Dr. Carr was also a member of the American Cancer Society from 1967 to 1974.(State of Florida's Proposed Plaintiff's Disclosure of Expert Witnesses, 2/5/97)
