Clinton Global Initiative
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization launched in 2005 by President Bill Clinton and the William J. Clinton Foundation[1][2] to "help our world move beyond the current state of globalization to a more integrated global community of shared benefits, responsibilities, and values," its website states.[3][4]
CGI describes itself as a "non-partisan catalyst for action, bringing together a community of global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges."[5]

"The four areas of focus for the Clinton Global Initiative 2007 are Energy and Climate Change, Global Health, Education, and Poverty Alleviation."[6]
