Help the Children is a nonprofit Christian humanitarian relief organization.

" Mr. Roger Presgrove attended Los Angeles Baptist College (75-79) and UCLA (80-82). Mr. Presgrove worked for General Motors Corporation for fifteen years and took an early buy out option in 1991. In October of 1991 Mr. Presgrove then went to World Opportunities International (WOI) as the Director of Operations. World Opportunities International / Help the Children was founded by Dr. Roy McKeown in 1961. Mr. Presgrove was ordained in November 1993 by World Opportunities International and has traveled all over the world to see firsthand the tremendous need in third world countries where humanitarian aid is not readily available. In 1998 Rev. Presgrove left WOI to establish Children's Network International.

"In 2005, World Opportunities International/Help the Children contacted Rev. Presgrove and asked him to take over the Help the Children programs. In 2007, Rev. Presgrove along with the Board of Directors decided to change the name of Children’s Network International to Help the Children. It is our belief that this name states what we do more precisely and for that reason we changed our name Children’s Network International to Help the Children." [1]
