World Association of Newspapers

The World Association of Newspapers was founded in 1948, and "groups 72 national newspaper associations, individual newspaper executives in 100 nations, 13 news agencies, and nine regional press organisations. It is a non-profit, non-government organisation. In all, the Association represents more than 18,000 publications on the five continents." [1]
