William Astor
William Astor is David Cameron's stepfather-in-law. [1]
"William Astor was born in 1951 and educated at Eton College. After working for Citibank in New York, he joined the Westminster Press in 1973 and worked in Yorkshire, for the Bradford Telegraph and Argus newspaper. He then start a number of venture capital companies and in 1984 founded Cliveden Hotels Ltd, which was subsequently floated in 1997 on the London Stock Exchange.
"He is currently Deputy Chairman of Chorion Plc and a Director of Urbium Plc, and Okadirect Ltd; Chairman of the investment committee of a Jupiter Asset Management operated fund. He is also Trustee of the Stanley Spencer Memorial Gallery, Cookham, Berks. He lives in Oxfordshire and is married with three children." [2]
He is married to Annabel Astor.
